Does their style match what you are looking for? Is there a photographer with a style your heart instantly falls in love with? I love incorporating timeless and elegant styles into my photography work. I keep the focus on the babies, children and families rather than the latest props or trends. Key Point: Choosing the cheapest photographer that may not have the exact style you like may not make you happiest in the end since you will have these photos forever! Make sure to choose a look you love!
Products
What kind of artwork are you hoping to end up with after your session? Does your home have wall space in which you would like to walk by your portraits multiple times a day and enjoy a few of your favorites? Do you want the entire story of your session in an album to allow your whole family to flip through these memories time and again? Key Point: Whatever products you love, make sure your photographer not only offers them but can help you decide what is right for you. I have tested out multiple professional labs to help bring my clients the best the industry has.
Clothing
How will you decide what to wear to your session? Do you prefer a photographer to just give you recommendations or someone who provides a wardrobe for the whole family? My studio closet allows moms to not worry about finding and investing in clothing their family may never wear again. So much time and money saved! Key Point: If you don’t know what to wear and hate shopping (like me!), look for a photographer who provides a studio closet full of options.
Brand
Overall, how does a photographer make you feel when you visit their website & correspond with them? Are they excited to work with you? Are they prompt in their responses? Are they professional? Do you trust them to be consistent in what they create so that your images will be just as wonderful as what you see on their website? Do they have experience & expertise in their chosen niche? Key Point: Being 100% confident in your choice of photographer translates into a wonderful experience and natural confidence in front of the camera.
