I know how it can end up being a losing battle to find time for yourself, especially when you’re running around after everyone else and young kids. As a busy mom myself, who also hates to shop, I know how hard it is to figure out what to wear for your photo shoot. That is why I include access to my studio wardrobe in all of my studio sessions!
Not only the time it takes, but the added expense of buying beautiful clothes that your family will probably only wear the one time can be an unwanted extra cost.
That is why I have built up the closet of outfits I have available for the family to wear during their studio sessions: maternity and non-maternity dresses, boutique baby outfits, older children options, and henley shirts for the dads!
I’ve chosen a range of dresses to suit a variety of shapes and sizes, in colors that compliment different skin tones and my studio sets. Nearly all dresses work for both maternity and not maternity and suit my organic style of photography. You can check out a selection of the wardrobe here. Also feel free to go through my portfolio and Instagram page! It’s always better to see the dress on someone and nearly all of the outfits I show are from the studio closet. FYI – Wardrobe use is included in all studio photo sessions, except for outdoor sessions.
If you are bringing your own clothing, my recommendation is to bring a variety of wardrobe options so you have plenty to choose from on the day. When you book into a session with me, I can also tell you my favorite shops to buy maternity gowns if you did want to buy one. You can also always email your ideas beforehand if you need a helping hand. I recommend choosing options that coordinate in either neutral colors (white, gray, cream) or light pastel colors (light blue, pink, purple, yellow).
